Study into the Effect of Compaction of Sandy Soils at the Foundation of Navigation Locks on Operational Reliability and Safety

The problem of the effect of cyclic navigation loads on the long-term settlement of sediments during the operation of navigation locks is examined. This factor has not yet been taken into account in documents regulating the operational reliability and safety of locks on inland waterways.
