Machining the Spherical Ends of Solids of Revolution. 1. Classification of Basing Methods

Methods of setting up roller workpieces when grinding their spherical ends are classified. On that basis, a morphological approach to finding promising methods of workpiece setup in particular circumstances is outlined.
