description | Based on the analysis of spatial position of the working-rope for four-rope freight ropeway, a mechanical model of the interaction between the working-rope and running car is proposed, which comprehensively reflects the characteristics of the working-rope system. Based on the calculation method of elastic catenary, the nonlinear equations for analysing the working system of four-rope freight ropeway are established. According to the typical design conditions of four-rope ropeway, the tension calculation of four carrying ropes is completed when the length of carrying rope changes. With the increase of the length deviation between the carrying ropes, the imbalance of the tension between the ropes is obvious. The tension of the carrying rope of the four-rope ropeway is very sensitive to the change of the rope length, and the coupling effect between ropes makes the breaking risk of carrying rope increase sharply. The results provide a reference for the safety factor analysis of the four-rope freight ropeway. |
