Zusammenfassung:Difficulty in receiving lesson information, boredom, and lack of interest and motivation are common among students in the physics learning process. The development of instructional media is one solution that can be done to overcome it. In this study, an audio-visual media type in the form of learning videos of cartoon genres will be developed using the PowToon web application. Based on related research, cartoon genre learning videos can focus students’ attention, increase interest and motivation to learn even in difficult learning environments, improve the ability to receive messages conveyed, as well as improve the ability to think mathematically. This research and development uses a modified Dick and Carey approach. The product has validated by media experts and material experts using a valid and reliable Likert scale questionnaire. This research succeeded in getting a video learning based on the PowToon web application which is suitable as a physics learning media. The validation result provides that this video learning is materially feasible with an average percentage of 79.26%, which is categorized as very good, and in the media with an average percentage of 78.75%, which is categorized as very good.
