Especificação e Desenvolvimento de um ChatBot para Apoio ao Atendimento a Pessoas com Trissomia 21

The trisomy of chromosome 21, also known as Down Syndrome, is the result of a genetic mutation that can cause the presence of three chromosomes in pair 21 in all cells of the individual or in some cells (mosaic trisomy). Individuals with Down Syndrome have different phenotypic manifestations and, in general, have neurological difficulties that interfere in the learning and maturation process. In this context, recognizing the importance of supporting young people with Down syndrome, this work specifies and implements a chatbot, called GABRIEL, which allows access to important information about the essential care that must be observed in the monitoring of a person with Down Syndrome. Uma dessas estrategias pode ser o uso de tecnologías de informaçao e comunicaçao (TIC), como é o caso da Inteligencia Artificial e dos robôs de conversaçao (chatbots), que sao aplicativos baseados em linguagem natural [8], que permitem a conversaçao de uma forma muito próxima da linguagem humana.
