Furthermore, while we were sensitive to air pollution and carbon emissions, we were not generally seeing climate change as a crisis yet. While the fundamental premise of human movement is moving from a point A to a point B, the growth of these movements in quantity and, more importantly, their diversity create a real puzzle for planners. The different articles in this issue pertaining to this topic certainly provide some food for thoughts and, I may suggest, enough information to Canadian travelers to become accountable when selecting a destination and their behavior when they reach it.
