The cutting force resulting from the revolution and rotation of the tool during thread cutting was analyzed based on the proposed method and position information from the wireless holder and the servo drive unit, and the phenomena occurring between the rough cutting edge and the finishing cutting edge during thread cutting were clarified. The relationship between work material hardness and cutting force was examined, and thread machining was studied.
