Zusammenfassung: | The photocatalytic activity of Tin Cadmium Sulfide was investigated under the visible light irradiation for the production of hydrogen by means of water splitting. Synthesis of nanocomposite was carried out hydrothermal method. The nanocomposite was characterized for investigating the physico-chemical properties. An instrumental analysis confirmed the formation of nanocomposite with the uniform size and having a relatively low band gap 2.86 eV. The morphology shows spherical shape with aggregated as a nanocluster. The nanocomposite as demonstrated the photocatalytic activity for hydrogen production around 265ml. The composite have shown great promising potential for the production of hydrogen by water splitting. |
