Keywords: Sheep husbandry, prices, multidimensional scaling analysis, regions, Turkey Extendend Summary Objective: The purpose of this study is to reveal the similarities and differences between regions in Turkey in terms of live sheep and mutton prices. Material and Methods: The 12 statistical regions in Turkey were compared with multidimensional scaling analysis (MDS) method based on live sheep (sheep and rams) and mutton (yearling and lamb) prices. According to the highest negative loadings, the most different regions in terms of the prices were Northeast Anatolia and Central Anatolia in the first dimension and East Black Sea regions in the second dimension.
