description Copper-Chromium alloy is the precipitation hardenable alloy with high strength, high electrical and thermal conductivity. It is applied in various industrial applications where high strength and conductivity are addressed. In the present work, the alloy was solutionized and was aged at 450°C and 500°C. At 450°C aging treatment resulted better with a hardness of 150HRB for half an hour. Aging curves were also plotted for various temperatures. Double aging treatment was also carried out and good results were obtained. Transmission electron microscopy was carried out on the sample aged at 450°C for half an hour. The structure showed GP zones. Diffraction patterns were also analyzed.
