description Thrombus is one of the complications of central venous catheter used in cancer patients. Here, we present a case of 13 years-old girl who was diagnosed right atrial thrombus during routine echocardiographic screening in terms of anthracycline treatment which has been given to her because of hepatocellular carcinoma for six months. She had no complaint and her physical examination was normal. ECG showed normal sinus rhythm. We showed the presence of the 19x18 mm ovale and mobile mass in the free wall of right atrium with normal ejection fraction by two dimensional transthorasic echocardiography (2DTTE) and three dimensional transthorasic echocardiography (3DTTE). There was no congenital thrombotic risk factor. She was administered tissue plasminogen activator and heparin infusion. Three monts later, mass dimensions were 6x5 mm with subcutane heparin. In conclusion, children with central venous catheter should be followed by echocardiyography routinely to avoid potential complications, even they have no symptom and 3DTTE can be used for more detailed examinations.
