En éste se analiza el significado y los componentes de la productividad, identificado cuales son los factores externos e internos que determinan los niveles de productividad en las organizaciones, seguidamente, se destaca el papel que juega el recurso humano en el alcance de las metas y objetivos propuestos a nivel empresarial, y su relación, con otros aspectos importantes de la empresa como son los costos y la gestión de calidad.
