Dynamical environmental effects lowering the plasmon energy and lifetime in doped carbon nanotubes
The theoretically predicted plasmon energy in doped carbon nanotubes overestimates the observed value by more than 10%. We find that an environment with finite conductivity reduces both the plasmon energy and lifetime, which also accounts for an experimental indication that the plasmon is invisible...
