Modern technologies of x-ray diagnostics

X-ray diagnostics of newborns in the presence of pathologies cannot be carried out in traditional X-ray rooms. There is a need for the development of a portable neonatal X-ray diagnostic complex consisting of a portable microfocus X-ray apparatus and a digital flat-panel X-ray image detector. This device has passed preclinical tests based on the perinatal center of the Almazov National Medical Research Centre. Due to the possibility of obtaining high diagnostic quality of the X-ray image, subject to radiation safety conditions, it can be considered that the developed X-ray complex is an important stage in the development of diagnostic equipment in neonatology and pediatrics.
