Zusammenfassung:In the seventh section, Schedl uses the account books to trace work on the south tower, nave, and new sacristy in the fifteenth century, while records of donations and dedications help fill in gaps. [...]a lengthy appendix provides, among other things, a chart of various architectural elements produced from 1404 to 1535 and a transcription of the account book of 1412. (The footnotes include a link to an online journal with images, which helps.) Having connected these images to the adjudication of adultery, she foregoes further discussion that might have explained, for example, why the phallic image appears to be two phalluses seemingly fused together, or why man and woman in marital union were reduced to their sexual organs.
