Zusammenfassung: | A sequence of Dy3+ ions activated LiSrBO3 phosphors were developed using solid state reaction. The obtained samples were studied by X-ray diffraction and FESEM for their structural evaluations. The broad diffraction lines intimated the nanocrystalline nature of the prepared phosphor. The photoluminescence excitation spectrum showed several narrow excitation bands ranging from 280 nm to 400 nm. The UV irradiated emission spectra indicated that LiSrBO3: Dy3+ can be effectively excited by near UV light by generating two prominent emissions in blue and yellow region which are attributed to the 4F9/2 → 6H15/2 and 4F9/2 → 6H13/2 transitions of Dy3+ ion. The investigated samples were found to be suitable for their application in white LEDs. |
