Longitudinal Deformation Wave in a Buried Pipeline Subject to Viscoelastic Interaction with Soil
The paper presents the analysis of the dynamic response of a buried main pipeline to a longitudinal ground wave propagating along the pipe. A linear viscoelastic pipe-soil interaction model is considered. Longitudinal oscillations (including supersonic) of a buried main pipeline have been studied.
