Zusammenfassung:The results obtained at the Institute of Atmospheric Optics, Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences, from 2010 to 2019 regarding problems on atmospheric correction of satellite images of the Earth’s surface and of optical communication based on the scattered laser radiation in the optical wavelength range in the atmosphere and under water are briefly reviewed.
