description One of the major challenges faced when launching and operating particle accelerators is meeting the requirement of on-line beam position monitoring. To solve this problem, we have carried out present experimental investigation of polarization radiation generated by relativistic electron field in dielectric fibers. Obtained results demonstrate that polarization radiation, which appears when a charged particle passes in vacuum near the array of fibers, can be used for nondestructive beam position monitoring.
