Low-density lipoprotein receptors in rat adipocytes : regulation with fasting

A portion of the uptake of cholesterol by adipocytes is mediated by LDL receptors. A study examined whether LDL receptors are differentially regulated in adipose tissue and the liver during fasting in the rat.
