Role of somatostatin in glucose regulation during endotoxicosis in the rat

The role of somatostatin in regulating glucose homeostasis during endotoxicosis in the rat is assessed. Results suggest that somatostatin plays a significant role in the glucoregulatory response to endotoxicosis.
