Zusammenfassung:In this paper we use the Lagrangian action principle for magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) of Newcomb [1] to develop Noether’s theorem and conservation laws for MHD based on the Lagrangian map. We discuss the derivation of conservation laws associated with the Lie point symmetries of the equations and also conservation laws associated with fluid relabelling symmetries.
