description | The article contributes to the results presented previously, related to the goals of physics and science education, the role of teamwork in physics education and the ideas related to the concept formation within physics education. In this contribution, we present the results of the research from the last years in the role of individual work of a pupil in ISCED 3 and ISCED 2 physics education. We develop the main idea that „pupils must do, what they want, at least sometimes“. In the light of personality model of R. C. Cloninger, and the orientation The Learning Sciences presented by the group of researchers around R. K. Sawyer, we treat a team school physics project developing science inquiry, engineering practices, collaborative design, and entrepreneurial practices. In each of them, we discuss epistemic focus, idea generation, activity, knowledge seeking, evaluation of inventions and new knowledge building, each as a creative process. The review of the literature and the experience from the pilot research on pupils of the age of 12-13 are presented. |
