Zusammenfassung:Most often, nonlyrical music with a duration of half an hour has been used (3 ,4). [...]music could be used as a way to help patients to cope with pain and anxiety after surgery. Use of music among adults In previous studies looking at the effectiveness of music on postoperative pain among adult patients, the participants had undergone procedures such as elective laparoscopic or abdominal surgery, thoracic or heart surgery, total knee replacements or had lung cancer (1-4 ,10 ,11). Modern e-technology, such as distance guidance, instructions provided e-hospital web sites and mobile applications could be used to inform and guide patients to be prepared for music interventions as adjuvants to pain medication during their postoperative hospital stay.
