Zusammenfassung:This second part describes the application of the methodology for assessing the relative importance of uncertain structural parameters. The emphasis is on the demonstration that the proposed method can indeed handle large-scale problems relevant to industrial users. Four examples are included, with growing complexity and degree of difficulty. While the first two examples are quite simple tutorial type problems, the remaining two examples deal with a large-scale application from aerospace engineering. The results demonstrate the remarkable efficiency of the method, even for problems with extremely high numbers of uncertain parameters.
