The goblet cells showed expansion of their structure. Mononuclear lymphocyte infiltration, dilation of blood vessels, and hemorrhage were observed in considerable areas of connective tissue. In the immunohistochemical evaluation of E-cadherin expression, there were no significant differences between the two groups. |
