Zusammenfassung: | Soil insects and seedling pests often cause seedling deficiency, affecting the growth and yield of miller1-31. [...]the occurrence area is expanding year by year, and the annual yield loss is above 30%. Millet downy mildew spreads mainly through the soil, an(J seedlings below 3 cm is easily infected. [...]the soil temperature and humidity after sowing and before seedling emergence, and the soil environment relevant to sowing date, sowing depth and sowing quality greatly influence the infection and incidence degree. According to the field survey, the incidence rate in general year is 10%-30%, or above 50% under severe condition. Results of variance analysis showed that the incidence of continuous cropping field was significantly severer than the rotation field, indicating kernel smut is a soilborne disease as well. [...]rotation and reverse cropping is the major means for prevention and control of kernel smut. 2.3 Millet blast (Pyricularia grisea) The leaf, leaf sheath, spike neck, pedicel of spikelet and grains of millet can be infected by blast. |
