description The aim of this study is to determine the entrepreneurial personality characteristics of entrepreneur candidates participating in applied entrepreneurship training and the effects of entrepreneurial personality characteristics on the entrepreneurial intention. In order to determine entrepreneurial personality characteristics was used the entrepreneurial personality characteristics scale developed by İşcan and Kaygın (2011); in order to determine the entrepreneurial intention was used the entrepreneurial intention scale developed by Liñán and Chen (2009). The results of the study showed that the highest level of entrepreneurial personality traits was self-confidence and the lowest entrepreneurial personality characteristics were tolerance to uncertainty. Moreover, there were significant relationships between self-confidence, need for achievement, internal control focus, tolerance to uncertainty and entrepreneurial intention. However, there was no significant relationship between risk-taking, innovation and entrepreneurial intention.
