Zusammenfassung: | Examining the scores of quality-of-life index of the elderly with chronic disease such as diabetes, arthritis, hypertension, and disk disorder, which prevail among old people, it is known the score of quality-of-life index was the lowest among the elderly people over 70 with diabetes and arthritis (0.821) while that was the lowest (0.857) among those between 60 and 69 with disk disorder. [...]it is found that various chronic diseases affect quality of life by age group2. [...]as they get older, disease management for the elderly gets more complicate due to weak homeostasis, multiple diseases, and use of multidrug as well as their socioeconomic characteristics. [...]it has been one of the most pressing agendas of geriatric medicine to find a way to overcome and cure it3. [...]the index turned out highest (>0.935) in the group without hypertension among the causal factors of geriatric syndrome and chewing difficulty. 4.CONCLUSION: [...]a following study will need to expand the geographic and time coverage to the nation and yearly trends. 5. |
