Welfare Reform, Unemployment Compensation, and the Social Wage: Dismantling Family Support Under Wisconsin's W-2 Workfare Plan

An examination of the provisions and flaws in Wisconsin's W-2 workfare plan is presented. The program fails to remove the barriers that currently prevent low-wage workers from obtaining work sufficiently well to support themselves and their families.
