Parents’ Perceptions of Their Children Body Fat Percentage and Weight

The students' anthropometric data, such as weight, body mass index (BMI) and body fat were measured using TANITA TBF-410 GS Body Composition Analyzer. Weight and nutritious status in childhood are expansive predictors of wellbeing that are influenced by various variables, including parents' perception of their children's body weight, eating habits and physical activity behavior, environmental, and sociocultural situation. Finding of this study also will inform health care providers to help parents become more aware about their child's weight status.
