A case study of gastric‐type adenocarcinoma in situ of the uterine cervix

Adenocarcinoma in situ of the uterine cervix of gastric subtype is a rare non‐HPV related lesion that poses a diagnostic challenge. We describe the cytological features of a case to emphasise the subtle clues to diagnosis and help to prevent misdiagnosis in cervical cytology practice.
