Extraction of metal ions from liquid and solid materials by supercritical carbon dioxide

An experimental approach for the extraction of copper (II) from an aqueous solution using supercritical carbon dioxide fluid is described. Results demonstrate the effectiveness of using supercritical carbon dioxide to extract metal ions from aqueous solutions.
