Avulsion fracture of the lesser tuberosity in an adolescent baseball pitcher

A case report on an avulsion fracture of the lesser tuberosity in an adolescent baseball pitcher is presented. Isolated avulsion fractures of the lesser tuberosity are rare injuries with only eight cases reported in children younger than the age of 18.
