Zusammenfassung:Zinc phosphate was applied as a Zn source for the tofu waste water-based cultivation medium used for chlorophyll and carotenoid production using Chlorella sp. This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of Chlorella sp. growth on varied tofu waste water (TWW) medium enriched with varied Zinc phosphate concentration in order to identify the optimum dose of tofu waste water medium and zinc phosphate concentration for the growth of Chlorella sp. Cultivation of Chlorella sp. on tofu waste water medium contain varied concentrations of tofu waste water ranging between 5%, 15%, 25% and 35%. The research used a combination of treatments with 0.25, 0.50, 1.0 and 1.25 g/L Zinc phosphate. The result of the study showed that the tofu waste water medium enriched with zinc phosphate can be used as a microalgae culture media indicated by the chlorophyll and carotenoid content of microalgae is better than the microalgae density in the TWW media. Base on the results of the study, it can be concluded that zinc Phosphate added as culture media from organic waste of tofu processing industry can be used as raw material for the manufacture of microalgae culture media.
