Residual Stresses in Layers of Structural Steels Nitrided in Glow Discharge

We study the influence of the time of nitriding, temperature, composition of a gas mixture, and its pressure on the internal residual stresses and the character of their distribution over the thickness of diffusion layers of structural steels nitrided in the glow discharge.
