Based on the formula of vertical distribution of the flow velocity obtained in the previous study and the suspended sediment diffusion equation in equilibrium, a formula of the distribution of suspended sediment is deduced. It can effectively avoid the phenomena that the Rouse formula equals zero at the water surface. The field measurement data of Jiangsu Sea is used to verify and analyze the deuced formula. And results show that it has a high accuracy and it solve the difficulties caused by lack of data in engineering, such as only the sediment concentration on the surface is given. |
