Progress in Studies of the Evolution of the Magnetic Fields of CP-Stars. II

Studies of the physical properties of magnetic and nonmagnetic chemically peculiar stars published since 2000 are analyzed. The properties supporting the hypothesis of a relict origin of magnetic stars are examined in detail. A possible scenario for the origin of magnetic stars is analyzed.
