Zusammenfassung:Respiratory and gastrointestinal pharmacotherapy is a competency course for pharmacy students in Universitas Islam Indonesia with average pass rate of ±60%. This subject should lead students to be actively involved in the learning process, not only listening to lectures. Therefore, it is necessary to modify the learning model by using the Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) with Case-Based Learning. This project aimed to observe the average pass rate and improvement of student’s ability to analyze cases of respiratory and gastrointestinal pharmacotherapy. The STAD method was implemented in 6 sessions of regular classes at the end of the semester with 10 tutors and 6 pharmacotherapy cases. Evaluation of the treatment group showed an average increase in the pass rate to >70% and average grade of B/C, a fail rate of active students
