THE RELATIONSHIP OF DISORDERS OF THE DIGESTIVE TRACT TO ANEMIA

Pernicious anemia is a deficiency disease resulting not from a direct inadequacy of the diet, but from a conditioned deficiency produced by the failure of some function of the normal stomach. The relationship between anemia and nutrition is discussed. (Reprint 1931)
