OBITUARIES: Melvin H Marx (1919-2005)

Melvin H. Marx received his doctorate in experimental psychology in 1943, at the age of 24. During his career he came very close to demonstrating that spread effect is caused by a gradient of direct strengthening of errors around reinforced responses. He died on May 9, 2005.
