Zusammenfassung:The characteristic parameters of the grain-boundary structure and the internal strain values are determined via X-ray diffraction in copper samples exposed to ball rolling. The characteristic coherence length is found to be 75–100 nm and the root-mean-square internal strains are ~1 × 10 –3 . The found values are close to those obtained after other types of severe plastic deformation, such as equal-channel angular pressing.
