Geophysical data confirming lack of Late Cenozoic mantle intrusions in the Earth’s crust under the Baikal Depression

Geophysical data confirming the lack of Late Cenozoic mantle intrusions in the Earth's crust under the Baikal Depression are presented. Results indicate that it is likely that the conductive thermal eld of the upper part of the Earths crust under the Baikal Depression is strongly distorted by heat and mass transfer by the ground waters.
