Zusammenfassung:The Moesian Platform is considered to consist of two main compartments, with different geological age and petrographic features at the crystalline basement level, separated by the NW-SE trending Intramoesian Fault. Seismological data compiled from published local, regional and global earthquakes catalogues was used to illustrate and analyze the distribution of seismicity within the Moesian Platfom. A number of profiles across the Intramoesian Fault with the earthquake hypocenters are presented, aiming at detecting the tectonic contact between the Moesian Platform compartments.
