Zusammenfassung:RISPERIDONE, AN ATYPICAL ANTIPSYCHOTIC with high affinities for D2 and 5 HT2A receptors, has been shown to be effective in the treatment of various psychiatric disorders, including disruptive behavior disorders (DBD) in young populations (Pandina et al. 2006; Jensen et al. 2007). Although it is generally a well-tolerated medication, some adverse events, including somnolence, rhinitis, headache, weight increase, increased appetite, and upper respiratory tract infection, were reported during treatment with risperidone (Pandina et al. 2006).
