W pracy przedstawiono badania wykorzystujące techniki sonarowe na terenie wyrobiska eksploatacyjnego Bielinek. Podczas sondowania dna skorzystano z dwóch metod pozycjonowania GPS. Kontrolnie dokonywano bezpośrednich pomiarów głębokości przy użyciu sondy ciężarkowej. Otrzymane wyniki porównano ze sobą w celu określenia dokładności przeprowadzonych pomiarów. Stanowiły one podstawę do opracowania numerycznego modelu dna wyrobiska Kopalni „Bielinek”
