description The changes in rock raw materials reserves in Świętokrzyskie region in 2009–2013 have been presented in the paper. The most important producers have been listed and the dynamics of rock raw materials exploitation for aggregate and cement production have been discussed. Aggregate demand for domestic and local road infrastructure, railway infrastructure and construction industry investments have been presented. As extraction of limestones and marls for the cement industry is significant in the region, foreseen consumption of cement have been pointed out. Przedstawiono zmiany w bazie zasobowej i dynamikę wydobycia kopalin skalnych w Świętokrzyskiem w latach 2009–2013 z wyszczególnieniem najważniejszych producentów kruszyw i surowców dla przemysłu cementowego. Zestawiono szacunkowe zapotrzebowanie na kruszywo do budowy dróg, inwestycji kolejowych oraz budownictwa kubaturowego w najbliższych latach. Z uwagi na znaczące wydobycie wapieni i margli podano też prognozy zapotrzebowania na cement.
