Material and Methods A sample comprised of 63 patients with SM and 49 individuals drawn from the general population, who did not have MS was evaluated with COPE and BDI. Results: We found a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of coping strategies in the MS patients and the healthy subjects. Conclusion: In comparison with control group and the MS patients without depression, MS patients with depression used more emotion coping and maladaptative coping strategies. |
