Farewell, Not Goodbye

On Jan 4, 2018, Dan Dumbacher joins AIAA as the new executive director. I am very excited to hand over the reins of leadership of the Institute to him; he will serve the membership well and bring a fresh perspective that will allow the Institute to continue to evolve and better serve our members. Over the next several months Dan and I will be working together to ensure a smooth transition to his tenure. Consequently, even though Dan comes on board at the beginning of the year, my last day with the Institute won't be until 30 March 2018-but this is my farewell Corner Office. In addition to being the executive director of the Institute, I also have had the privilege of concurrently serving as president of the AIAA Foundation.
