Pain management knowledge deficiencies were identified, including assessment; pharmacologic management with opioids, nonopioids, and adjuvant medications; risks of addiction; risks of respiratory depression; nonpharmacologic pain interventions; and the treatment of procedural pain, surgical pain, and cancer pain. |
